Character XYZ builds interactive virtual characters for physical spaces, and the platform that runs them.
What we do
Character XYZ is a product of Charky Labs Pvt Ltd, a private limited company registered in India in 2024 and based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
We make interactive virtual characters that stand in real venues and hold real conversations with guests. A character can welcome someone, answer from the venue's own content, take an order and hand off to a person. It runs on a hologram unit, a kiosk, a tabletop, a screen or the web.
We provide two things: a platform for creating, configuring and deploying characters, licensed on a subscription; and a studio service that produces a character to a brand's brief and takes it through to deployment.
Who we work with
Malls, restaurants, airports, showrooms, expos, theme parks and independent venues, across India and the UAE. Our characters have run at Phoenix Mall Chennai, Nexus Mall Bangalore, Alveal Mall and Snow Fantasy in Coimbatore, the Jubilant trade expo, the NASSCOM Tech Conference and the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam.
The team
Industry veterans from AAA game studios, Hollywood production houses and fashion projects, who built the character and performance pipelines the platform runs on.
